GARAGE SALE 2 - July 28-30

It's busy around here...getting ready for our LOCAL G-sale this coming week.  Seems that's all we've been doing this summer is getting ready for garage sales!  =)  For our working friends, we're trying something new with a TWILIGHT Garage Sale this Wed., 5-7:30pm.  Thursday and Friday hours are 8:30am-4pm.  DRIVING DIRECTIONS ARE BELOW ON OUR BLOG DATED JUNE 22.

We're finding all kinds of things!  Check out these cute Victorian wood dolls.  Back in my craft show days, I painted these ladies and gussied them up.  The fun part was giving them names like "Gussie Dupp".  If you or someone you know enjoys Victorian things and painting, we're selling the plain wood dolls for a song!  We're also selling a couple of already-painted ladies.  Namely, Olive Green and Fanny Fuller (pictured).  Who said you can't do Victorian and Lodge?  =)  Time to get back to pricing for the sale...hope to see you soon.

One last note...I almost forgot.  We're going to be showing our NEW Charlie Bears at the Garage Sale.
We've been waiting for this order since last September!  As you can see, they have wonderful  personalities.  Each one is handcrafted.  Below is a sampling of what we now have in stock.  These will be offered at their regular price.

Have you seen Piebald Deer?

We love wildlife.  How about you?  We'd be interested in hearing if any of you have heard of or seen Piebald deer.  A couple years ago, I looked out our office window and was surprised to see a mostly-white deer.  Thinking it was an albino, which I'd never seen before, I put the sighting in the back of my mind.  Then a few days later, I saw it again. This time it was closer.  It didn't have the usual albino characteristics.  I tried to find info on the internet but wasn't successful.  A few months later, in the local paper, there were photos and info on Piebald deer as a number of people in our area had seen them.  This past year, another Piebald  was born, just a few houses down from us.  Several months ago, my husband was able to take close-up pictures...and our neighborhood Piebalds were most cooperative. : )  Check out our website's newsletter for more information.  Hope you enjoy these snapshots.
